About Us
Bible Beater?
We get a lot of raised eyebrows when people take a first glance at our shirts. My question is who says being a Bible beater is such a bad thing? It used to be that a Bible beater was someone who judgmentally rammed their Christian beliefs upon those who didn’t share them. Today its span pretty much includes anyone engaged in a public show of conviction.
Well times are changing!
We’d like to introduce you to the new generation of Bible Beaters. We are gals and guys, men and women, boys and girls who are not stifled and restricted by rules and regulations. We’ve messed up, fallen, cried out and been raised up. And we’ve learned a truth we want to shout from the mountaintops: once you have experienced the redeeming power of Christ’s love, you will find yourself proud to be a Bible Beater!
I’m just a girl who is in love with the Lord and like many others, want to share God’s word. I stumble and fall and struggle daily. I’m an imperfect girl with a perfect message!
I love simple fashion. I also love comfort. That’s why in the many blistering days of Arizona heat I wear a tank top, mostly the kind referred to as a “beater.” Not exactly the kind of idea I endorse or align myself with, but when I combined the what with the who, Bible Beaters was born.
At Bible Beaters, we believe the Bible to be the living, breathing, active Word of God.
The Word of God – how powerful!
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword…
My favorite verse is Philippians 4:10-13. I urge you to pick up your Bible and read it.
Bible beater… It’s not about judgment.
It’s about mercy, grace and redemption.
That's something to beat your Bible about!
